SUNDAY 24th JUNE - Show and Shine
On Sunday 25 June 2017, the TCCV is holding a "Show and Shine" event at the Caribbean Gardens 1280 Ferntree Gully Road, Scoresby. The TR Register has been invited .

The event is not a concours event. Cars will be judged based on their general appearance, interest and attractiveness on the day.. There will not be detailed vehicle inspections as is common with concours judging. Awards for winners and runners up will be available for the following categories:

TR2, 3, TR3A, TR4, TR4A, TR5, TR6, TR7 andTR8. One for each category.
Triumph Saloons Pre 1963 4 cylinder, Triumph Saloons Post 1963 4 cylinder, Triumph Saloons Post 1963 6 Cylinder, Triumph Stag, Triumph Herald/Vitesse and Triumph Spitfire. One for each category.
In addition there will be an award for the Car of the Show, which need not necessarly be a Triumph

There will not be a fee to enter the Show and Shine. The only entry fee will be that charged by Caribbean Gardens to enter the grounds. According to their website, this fee is $2.50 per adult, but a discount is available for seniors and pensioners.
Cars need to be at Caribbean gardens by 10:00AM and Judging will commence shortly thereafter.

Caribbean Gardens is a family friendly location with many attractions for children, many food facilities, and of course the general market. Check for more details.

Sat & Sun 9th & 10th Sept - Tassie Shake down run to see Wheat Silo art
Run up to see the art work and portraits on the wheat silos between Horsham and Ouyen. Stay over night at Warracknabeal.
Meet at 8.30am at the BP Calder for an 8.45 departure. Drive to Patchewollock via Marong to see first Silo. It might pay to bring a picnic lunch as shops are underwhelming. Drive on to Brim to the second Silo and then have a beer at the local pub. Then 20 km to Warracknabeal for the nights accommodation (Country Roads Motor Inn 03 53981811, 10 rooms reserved under "Gary" for a 2 week period at $115 plus breakfast). Dinner at the Creekside Hotel, easy walk from motel. On Sunday drive to Sheep Hills then Rupanyup near Horsham for the other silos. Return to Melbourne about 350km. Organiser: Gary Waite 0419367370
