Does anyone know if tr4/5/6 seats will fit the early cars? John

I assume you are talking about the later TR4/4A seats as the early ones were the same as the TR3A. As far as I know the mountings in the floor are the same, but the construction of the seats raises the cushion slightly, so they should fit. You would need to check the measurements though. Not sure about the TR5/6 but they should be the same. Cheers, Peter

Hello John, Good thought! Just did some measurements. Tr5 seats are 49cm across and the frame inside at 46cm across. But according to what I can measure, this is about 3cm too wide for an early car, that's measuring inside of the B pillar to the tail shaft tunnel on the '3A. Maybe the seats could be cut to fit?? Hope this helps!
