I am in Adelaide today and drove a Humber Sceptre in the Bay to Birdwood rally. You might ask why, but that is another story. I didn't even know such a car existed until a day or two back, but it is an early 60's vehicle and lo and behold, has overdrive. So we set off today and the overdrive died.

Somewhere in the back of my very full brain is this memory that someone in SA is a guru with overdrives. In fact, I seem to remember sending him an overdrive about 20 years back to fix. Does anyone know who this guy was, and if he still fixes Laycock overdrives?

For those who are saying a Humber what, I have included a picture.

Thanks guys. Will pass on the details and see if Bob can sort it out. The Humber is not quite such a fun car to drive as the TR.

Incidentally, there was a 3a painted the same colour yellow as my car in the rally. I painted my car Yelllowstone which is a Merc colour. Could not find the owner but it looked a nice car.
