My TR2, now owned by Robert Allen in Vic, is fitted with the Goodall bracket and Escort rack. It wasn't engineered when I had it fitted although it was done professionally at Greg Tunstall Mechanical but Robert has since had it certified in Victoria with only a couple of minor adjustments. I assume it was certified by the engineer Johnno has mentioned.
I think Alladin's idea of a national approach to this is a good idea, my TR3 has rack and pinion of unknown origin fitted which I would like to have certified. I understand it was fitted at Smithees but a call to them seeking information was a waste of time.

Hi
I will copy mine and send it tomorrow.
Interestingly, I got a Blue slip for my TR today so that I can register it under the new Classic scheme for modified cars. This requires a blue slip to get it on the scheme then a pink slip each year. An engineering certificate is required by the inspecting person and needs to be presented to the RMS when registering. In NSW any car with significant mods are required to go from Historic to Classic. Mine of course has significant mods to brakes and steering.
