does anyone know a paint company that can supply BRG for a TR2. I have been talking to PPG and they said they could get the colour in 6 weeks. 8 weeks later and I am still waiting!

Mine came out a very good match to my original BRG as we found a protected bit undisturbed for 60 years or so under the wiper mount. My restorer match it by eye to a two pack colour chart he had. If you are going for 2 pack I can find out more.
Cheers

Darryl Carthew at The Classic Factory, Smithfield might be able to help.

Hi Colin. Nat Stillone advises he used Mipa Paint. Colour chip code 0-6-00430.500
He suggests ringing them at 0413304559 and they can mix it for you. I'm in Sydney but I'm not sure if that makes any difference. Good luck
Cheers
Jim

Just an update on the British Racing Green. I rang the number for MIPA Paint and spoke to the guy there who was very helpful. However he was a distributor for MIPA who have gone into receivership and although he had stock and could mix the paint he suggested I contact the local dealer in Adelaide. HOWEVER, the distributor here (in Adelaide) must not have faired so well as the phone number was disconnected so that was the end of that lead.

In the end I contacted a local register member who had his car painted BRG a few years ago and he put me onto a panel shop that had mixed his paint from a sample. They gave the formula to their supplier who mixed me the same colour. I now have can of paint!

Thanks for the help and suggestions!
