Hi all,

I have a 3a that a previous owner installed a Mitsubishi Sigma 2.6 motor and 5 speed gearbox in. I have to say it drives well but it just isn’t right. An opportunity came up to purchase an original Triumph motor and gearbox/overdrive at a clearing sale last year. The motor and gearbox were sold in a dismantled state in multiple lots. I have been able to rebuild the motor with help from Ray (new parts) and Mal (used parts).

One part is still missing and preventing me from swapping back to an original drive train. The part that I am seeking is a speedo drive gear/housing and retaining set screw (see attached picture)

I’am hoping that someone out there may have these items in their parts stash that they are willing to pass on. If you can help please get in touch.

Speedo gear has now been found thanks to Mal Munro.
