TRS come without fuses on headlights. When setting up headlights with relays, what are thoughts on incorporating fuses? Where should they be put and what rating particularly using H4 halogen or leds?

Relays are good things. Best to only run the relay activation circuit thru the switch and dipper. You can get headlight relays that are duel ( high and low beams) with a fuse included. Run a good size wire direct from battery to relay and just use the two existing high low beam wires to activate the relays.
Best location for the relay is close to the load (headlights). This would also make the wiring easier but best to run new wirers to the light plugs.

It should make a big difference to the light performance.
